Our commitment
Water Stone approaches defence and dual-use requirements through controlled assessment, documented decision-making and accountable commercial and technical processes. Product availability or capability does not override legal, licensing, ethical or responsible supply considerations.
Know the parties
We may verify the identity, authority, ownership and role of buyers, intermediaries, consignees, end users and other relevant programme participants. We may request corporate, governmental, end-user, procurement, financing or other supporting documentation before confirming a route.
End use and destination
Requirements are evaluated against the stated destination, end user and intended use. Unauthorised re-export, re-transfer, diversion or change of end use is not accepted. Appropriate end-user undertakings, delivery evidence and post-delivery documentation may be required according to the product, destination and programme.
Licensing, controls and sanctions
All activity remains subject to applicable Bulgarian and European Union law, international obligations, export and transfer controls, brokering rules, embargoes, sanctions and competent-authority decisions. No website content, enquiry response or commercial discussion is an authorisation to proceed without the approvals required for the specific transaction.
Documentation and traceability
We seek to maintain proportionate records supporting the approved commercial, technical, licensing and delivery route. Customers and partners are expected to provide accurate, complete and timely information and to preserve documents required by applicable law and the agreed programme controls.
Partners and supply chain
Manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers and technical partners may be assessed against the role they perform, the controlled nature of the requirement and relevant quality, compliance and documentation expectations. Water Stone may require contractual commitments proportionate to those responsibilities.
Integrity and wider legal risk
Proposed activity remains subject to applicable anti-bribery, anti-corruption, non-proliferation, human-rights and humanitarian-law obligations. Where required by law, licence conditions or a competent-authority decision, Water Stone may seek additional information or safeguards and may decline the proposed activity.
Right to decline or suspend
Before a binding commitment, Water Stone may decline or pause an enquiry or quotation where approval is unavailable, circumstances change, information cannot be verified, a compliance concern arises or the proposed activity is inconsistent with applicable law or responsible business practice. After a binding commitment, any suspension or termination is subject to the governing contract and applicable law, including where either permits or requires that action. Additional review may be required at any programme stage.
